Included
with all our pools is 3' of concrete around the perimeter. If there is a diving
board it will include 5' at the deep end. Additional concrete can be added,
often this is a nice way to create a sitting area around the pool or tie in
an existing walkway or patio. The standard finish on the concrete is a classic
broom finish. This is the best surface for around the pool which is easy on
the feet, while still maintaining a subtle grip to avoid a wet slippery surface.
Stamped
concrete has become very popular. It can create a resort like feel to any
pool or backyard. Depending on what theme or design your pool is, certain
patterns and colours will enhance better than others. However, some patterns
although look very impressive, may not be best around the perimeter of the
pool. You want to ensure that the concrete is comfortable to walk on (especially
with bare feet) and when it is wet, it is safe to walk on.
